Topsham Folk Club is held every Sunday at the Globe Hotel, Fore Street, Topsham. Singers and musicians are welcome and entrance on singers nights is free. If you want to perform on a singers night, please make sure you arrive by 8.15pm and make yourself known to the evening's compere. People normally perform 2 songs or tunes within a 10 minute slot. Don't worry it is not compulsory to perform! you are welcome to come along and just listen.

Most Sunday's are singers nights and are held in the restaurant starting at 8.30pm. Guest nights are held in the Malt House at the rear of the Globe and start at 8pm. Singers and guest nights finish by 11pm.

This Spring we’re temporarily leaving our regular home of the Globe Hotel whilst it is being refurbished. Concert nights will take place in Matthews Hall, Fore Street, Topsham EX3 0EF and from 25 March singer’s nights move to Route 2 cafe bar, Monmouth Hill Topsham EX3 0JQ. We hope to return to the Globe late May.

KRIS DREVER AND EAMONN COYNE - AT MATTHEWS HALL TOPSHAM
Kris Drever is a talented guitarist and singer from the Orkney Islands whose debut solo album ‘Black Water’ won him the Horizon Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2007. He is also an awards winner with Lau, the band he plays in with Aidan O’Rourke and Martin Green, winning ‘Best Group’ in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Kris is joined here with multi-instrumentalist Eamonn Coyne.

JEANA LESLIE AND SIOBHAN MILLER- AT MATTHEWS HALL TOPSHAM
Jeana and Siobhan are two talented young singers and musicians who are recognised as shining new stars on the Scottish Music scene focusing strongly on traditional, contemporary and self-penned song. Jeana (fiddle, Hardanger fiddle, piano, vocal) and Siobhan (vocal, piano, dance) met while studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama. Since winning the 2008 BBC Young Folk Award they have toured to great acclaim throughout the UK and Europe.
